We Help Light the Way To see Lives and Legacies Transformed.
The gospel is the good news of God’s grace invading the darkness of this world. Where once the world was perfect, sin caused a downward spiral that we cannot escape from. It is the beautiful story of God redeeming that spiral and drawing the broken people stuck in it back to Himself through the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. The grace of Jesus for the world on the cross is the heart of the gospel. His resurrection is the strength of the gospel and His ascension is the promise of the gospel.
Our Beliefs
These basic doctrines of The Lighthouse represented from our Statement of Faith will help you understand what we believe to be core elements of biblical teaching.
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, each of whom is fully God, yet there is one God.
Doctrine of Humanity
We believe that all humanity is created in the image of God and possesses intrinsic dignity and worth
Doctrine of Sin
We believe our first father Adam rebelled against God’s commands and that sin has fractured all people and things, leaving the world in desperate need of salvation.
Doctrine of Revelation
God has made Himself known to the world in Jesus Christ, through the Bible, and through creation.
Doctrine of Creation and Providence
We believe that God created the world from nothing and governs all things at all times in all places.
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ sent into the world to shine forth the glory of God.
Our Elders

Adam Sculnick
Pastor / Elder; LighthouseMEN team lead
While serving as a pastor in south Florida, Adam heard God’s call to move to west Michigan in 2023 to preach Christ to the un-churched and de-churched as well as those in church who had lost sight of Christ in their pursuit of tradition and after a short time serving a local church there, God released him from that church and called him to launch The Lighthouse in December 2024. Adam is deeply passionate about the spread of the gospel and is often known to pray randomly with strangers. he is the author of several books about the christian faith, many of which focus on drawing men back to faith and to leadership in their homes and communities, a subject Adam has built his life on.

Elder; First Impressions team lead
My amazing wife Stephanie and I have 3 adult children. I was raised here in Fremont and as a boy I went to church, so I believed in a God, but really didn’t know who God was. In 2017 I hit my rock bottom and got tired of living the worldly roller coaster life and let out a heartfelt cry to God to please save me. The next Sunday I joined my wife at church and gave my life to the lord and since that day my family’s and my life have been radically changed. I’ve traveled to Myanmar as a missionary, served throughout the Church and taught in children’s ministry for 5 years. Then in May 2025, my family came to The Lighthouse for what we thought was just a visit to support my daughter’s friends and their dad but instead turned into a calling from God to take a leap of faith and make The Lighthouse our new home church.

Born and raised in Fremont, I am blessed to be a part of the Lighthouse community. God blesses those who are patient and trust Him during the simple and challenging times. There is no better example of this than my beautiful, loving, and supportive wife Tiffany and my two amazing children, McKenna and Ayden. We joined The Lighthouse Church in March 2025 following a recommendation from my mom Rose and are excited to grow and serve with our church community. I am honored to serve as oversight for the finances of our growing church family.
